The 'What-if' Stage is Over!

In my last blog post I was about to send my latest book - This Haunted World Book Two: The Eleventh Floor - off to beta readers, waiting nervously in a padded room for their feedback. There were changes certainly, but it was all good, very good in fact, so by the time it got to my editor, it was three-quarters of the way there. And then, as from 28th September 2017, it was ALL the way there, and is now available on Amazon. Another book baby flies the nest!

Early feedback from readers has been great, lots seem to have finished it already and others are walking the long, long corridors of The Egress as we speak! Here's what they've been saying: 'an ominous feeling runs through every page,' 'chilling and poignant this is a real edge -of-your-seat page turner...but not for the faint-hearted,' and 'I'm tough as old boots but even I had a shiver or three.' So what's it about - a hotel, a haunted hotel - here's the blurb:

A snowstorm, a highway, a lonely hotel… Devastated by the deaths of her parents and disillusioned with life, Caroline Daynes is in America trying to connect with their memory. Travelling to her mother’s hometown of Williamsfield in Pennsylvania, she is caught in a snowstorm and forced to stop at The Egress hotel – somewhere she’d planned to visit as her parents honeymooned there. From the moment she sets foot inside the lobby and meets the surly receptionist, she realises this is a hotel like no other. Charming and unique, it seems lost in time with a whole cast of compelling characters sheltering behind closed doors. As the storm deepens, so does the mystery of The Egress. Who are these people she’s stranded with, what secrets do they hide? And, in a situation that’s becoming increasingly nightmarish, is it possible to find solace?

It's only available as an ebook at the moment from Amazon, but paperback will be available from mid-October and audio later on in the year. If you do read it, I hope you enjoy it!
